For what it's worth there is a tree on ancestry for this couple called Lars Andersen Bakken. However the tree on both ancestry and FamilySearch have the bride born in Gran Upland?

Martha Bakken
Census • United States Census, 1900

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M93Z-CJ4

The Gran birthplace comes from the marriage info in Hurdal. Don't see much matching in the way of children for this couple to the 1880 couple.

Arrival of Maren and two daughters, see Numbers 71, 72, and 73.

There is a Maren Olsdaatter Nr 68, difficult to tell if she is part of the Maren and two girls group.

A good example of how far the ages can be. Here is Maren, born in 1835? Interesting someone knew this family well enough to give the correct names for the two passengers.

#34-36 Maren and girls leaving Vinger

Tree at familysearch : https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/L4SD-GDN

There are notes on the family tree at familysearch.org: This on Maren
Maren reiste til Amerika med skipet "Oder" den 14.juli 1871. Reisemålet var Milwaukee. Maren står oppført som passasjernr. 1923 i Politiets utvandrerliste for 1871. Liste kan fåes ved henvendelse til Nordmannsforbundet, Rådhustgt. 23 B, Oslo

And this on Lars:
"Lars Larsen er Charles Larsen som emigre

Lars Larsen er Charles Larsen som emigrerte til Amerika 1. juli i 1870 med båten Hero og reisemålet var Milwaukee. Han står oppført som nr. 1553 i politiets emigrantliser fra 1870 med navnet Lars Larsen Vestaberget. Ektefellen Maren Gulbrandsdatter reiste etter i 1871, sammen med tre av barna Maren, Line og Gurine."

Google translate:
Lars Larsen is Charles Larsen as an emigre

Lars Larsen is Charles Larsen who emigrated to America on 1 July 1870 with the boat Hero and the destination was Milwaukee. He is listed as no. 1553 in the police emigrant list from 1870 with the name Lars Larsen Vestaberget. Spouse Maren Gulbrandsdatter left in 1871, together with three of the children Maren, Line and Gurine.

Both were posted in 2013 by svestaberg2703803

There are some sources on this family tree including a link to the Vestaberg listing from the Vinger bygdebok, which of course, I can't see because of my IP address.

The earliest 2 sources in the tree in American records for Charles Larson both indicate his birth year as 1845. They are his marriage to Karen Diedrickson in 1875 in Nebraska, and the 1880 census also in Nebraska. His headstone reports 1838 and death date as 1912.

According to the parish register Maren Gulbrandsdatter left in 1871 with 2 children. There is only one other Maren in the parish list leaving in 1871. That Maren is 24 years old and heading to Christiania.

Charles Larson in 1900 census gives birth date as Oct 1842 and immigration year as 1870. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M3BK-M39

And here is #18 Karelius Larsen M_____ aged 29 1/2 leaving Vinger in April 1870 in the parish register:
Vinger prestekontor, SAH/PREST-024/H/Ha/Haa/L0011: Ministerialbok nr. 11, 1862-1870, s. 484

And Carelius from the police list: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9/og00000000403504

And Lars Larsen Vestaberget from the police list leaving in July:

I am coming around to the fact that we probably know that Marry Anderson wife of John Anderson from Jefferson and Waukesha counties is the same person as Maren Gulbrandsdatter from Vinger Hedmark.

I am also assuming that her first husband Lars Larsen died maybe sometime between his arrival in 1870 or more likely the birth of stepdaughter Mary born about 1873 and the birth of Margaret in 1878.

But I have no information on John Anderson prior to his appearance in the 1880 Census.
