This is probably Colben sp? born ? Dec. 1848. Found in the Chronological List.l Not an easy find or easy to read. Perhaps Tore can take a look at the source and read the dates and names?

Now I am following a Family Tree from Ancestry.com from Salve Kolbensen and his Ancestors. There is probably a Bygdebok that covers this family but I do not have easy access to it. Perhaps Tore will lend a hand here?

| I haven't seen the family trees on Ancestry, and don't know if they say anything about Sigvald's siblings, but a profile on Familysearch connects Anton's baptism in Spind to a death in Chicago in 1904. I can't access the original death record in order to see how much or little guesswork is involved... |

There is a Geni profile for the sister Olga. She is not connected to any siblings, but her parents are there, although with the surname of Vemmestad, after Johannes' birth place.
Note that she had a son Erling born in 1916 who emigrated to America. Is there any chance that he is the Erling mentioned in the original post? |
