I do not know if you have a subscription to Ancestry.com but there are about 20 family trees on that site for your ancestors associated with the Kronstad farm.

It should be interesting to follow as it takes you back to the oldest male family line

Ivar Torsson Eid
1620–
BIRTH 1620 • Nestuggu Eid, Hlonda
DEATH Unknown

The trees on Ancestry.com are a little short on sources but you should be able to use the tree or trees and the records from Ancestry and the Norwegian Digital Archives to document your family tree.

This is likely the father of your Even Jensen born in 1817. A heads up in the tree on Ancestry.com there is also a second Even Jensen born in 1818 so the one we gave you earlier probably died shortly after birth.

Here is your Jens Evensen father of Even Jensen born in 1818 in the 1801 Census. He is 5 years old and his father is Even Iversen born about 1757 and his wife Eli Jensdatter born about 1761. The farm is Konstad.

Am I right that Sigrid's father was named Sivert Siversen at her first wedding and Sivert Ingebrigtsen at the second? But both records cite a place of birth that to me looks more like Gaasland than Gundland.

You might find this list of farm names from Melhus useful it includes Eid, Gaasland, Rested, Konstad etc.

Some difficulty linking to the correct page but search this on Google

Melhus Sor-Trondelag Norway Familysearch.

I use Ancestry at the library, so I will search for those family trees today. Once again, wow! I spent hours last night before I read this, trying to find Jens Evensen and just ended up frustrated and lost in a rabbit hole! So happy to read this today after my confused search. Somehow I ended up in a parish near Oslo, then gave up.

I did see the infant Even who died in April, and was wondering if he was a twin, but now I see you found the actual record. Thank you.

And I found the Melhus parish farm list on Familysearch by googling the term you sent--thanks. That will keep me from straying to Oslo again! I am looking forward to documenting this family tree.

Replying to ToreL "Am I right that Sigrid's father was named Sivert Siversen at her first wedding and Sivert Ingebrigtsen at the second?"

I had the same question, but I cannot read the scanned version of the marriage record for Sigrid's second wedding on October 23rd, 1861:
https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/327/pv00000009612940
The electronic version doesn't list bride's father:

Melhus makes much more sense for the marriage record. Thank you! Still the name discrepancy Sivertsen/Ingebrigtsen...
The marriage links I posted must be a different Anders.

Pastors and clerks can make a mistake occasionally too, out of the blue!
