Trying to find when my family traveled from Norway to the United States and see if I can find any documentation. I have found a lot of them on FamilySearch however with all the documents I have found I am not 100% on the names since they changed several times. Searched the Ellis Island and there is nothing to be found. Family originated in Hafslo, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway and the names are supposedly or close to, Lasse Nilsen (1816-1905), his wife Anna Sophie Randulff Franz (1809-1865), their son Nils Lassesen (1846-1922) and his wife Christi Olsdatter (1850-1934) and supposedly her parents Ole Iverson (1818 - unknown) and Kjersti Olsdatter (1821 - unknown). Thank you so much to any one that can help me find anything. :)

It appears that a number of your ancestors were alive (and in US?) for the 1900 census. That census asks questions about your cirizenship status, year that you came. Have you found them in the 1900 census?

Where have you gotten the information you have currently from?

According to the 1860 Census the family was already in Dane County Wisconsin. That makes the search for the emigration a little more difficult.
as the records in Norway and Canada do not start until 1865.

Looks like Lasse (last name hard to read,, does not look like Nielsen, could be a farm name) his wife Annie Sophie and two children names are Nels and Fredrik left Norway in 1853, The family is numbers 46 to 49. Birth dates look mostly correct.

Here is likely maybe the arrival of the family,

The father and wife are listed but not the children, a little odd but still looks like a good shot.

Here is a screen shot of the page of the manifest. Sometime it works
Lasse and Sophie are Nr 41 and 42. There is a couple at 51 and 52 who were on the emigration list from the Hafslo parish record shown above that are also on this ship. I think that is good confirmation.

They are 52 and 53 from the parish emigration list

The ship is the Jørgen Brunchorst, from Bergen Apr. 26 to New York June 2. You can se the transcribed passenger list here: https://www.norwayheritage.com/p_list.asp?jo=936 passengers 41-47?

Here you can read more about the ship, and see a picture: https://www.norwayheritage.com/p_ship.asp?sh=jobru

Did Lasse's daughter-in-law Christi Olsdatter also come from Hafslo? If so, no. 66 in this 1866 list of people leaving Hafslo parish, is a strong candidate. You find her parents Ole and Christi as no. 63 and 64 on the preceding page.

Don't worry about the the Kjersti/Christi discrepancy; these names are hardly more than optional, alternative spellings of each other. And in any event, the mother is named Kjersti in the 1865 census. (Back in Kristi's baptism, the mother is also named Kristi, but again, don't worry.)

There are lots of people named Skophammer at Find-a-grave, but I didn't detect any obvious relatives at first glance.
