I have not been able to find MAREN LARSEN b. 1883, Drammen, on any passengers lists. She came to Amrica in 1901. I would like to fine the name of the ship and in which port she arrived. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you. Martha Johnson

I don't have very much information. She came over to take care of some children. She was in the Hudson, South Dakota area. She married there in 1905. Her parents names were Kristopher & Anne Oldatter Larsen and she had six brothers & sisters. martyj

Hi,
this is maybe a bit off-topic, but I've done a search for your family in the census.
I found this family when searching the 1900 census for Drammen, in Buskerud county. Click here
It could be Maren's family, although she's not living there herself.

The family consists of Christoffer & Anne Larsen, with children
Andreas(m), Sigurd Alb. (m), Lars (m), Anna (f), Gerda (f) and Christoffa (f).

This could be your Maren working as a servant:
