Looking for information about my great grandfather. He was a merchant seaman from norway in the 1880's.

Any information will help. Possibly on a ship named Fannie???

Any information would help us, too. There's no-one with the name compination Fred[e]rich/ck/k AND Elling in the norweigan 1865 cencus. And 185 with the name combination Fred[e]rich/ck/k AND Ped/ters. But if you have an age at any time, a birth year, birth place or something maybe someone can help you...

DOB around 1858, also went by Loe Elling Pedersen. Changed name to Peterson when he arrived in America. Was possibly onboard a ship with the name FANNIE then an unreadable letter after Fannie.
Discharged from that ship 10/13/1882. According to my GGMothers obituary he was a "Norwegian Ships rigger".
