If he was born in 1810, where do you believe he was in 1801???
I doubt strongly that you will find him in the 1801-census...

However, census-1865 lists his birthplace as "Bærums værk".
Churchbooks for Vestre Baerum parish, Akershus county, for the time around Johan's birth does not look to be available online.

I don't understand what Johan Larsen Løvlien has to do with Andreas Bergh and this thread as it was discussed in 2005. Am I missing a connection in this somewhere?

I have her as Ingrid A Odnesdotter and their marriage on 16 Dec 1877 at Our Saviors Luthern, Eau Claire, Eau Claire co, WI. I can't remember the source, but know that I found it online somewhere. Sorry.

Saddler Johan Larsen Løvlien born in Bærum parish in Akershus was Lise Løvliens father, she married Anderas Paulsen Berg. They left Kongsberg spring 1868.

lise; Im Richard A Bergh, great,great grandson of Andreas Paulson Bergh and Karren Pedersdatter Overboe. I have information , pictures etc back to 1254. I'm also member of
Numedalsagen Lag of America which was founded 1908, which covers the areas of Nore og Uvdal, Rollag, Flesberg, Kongsberg, Larvik & Lardal, all to gether they have a convention called 7-Lag Stevne, where they just had a convention in Oconomowoc, WI july 18 thru 21st. Dick Holter of Cohaset, MN is the Genealogist. I'm also the Zone 1 Director ,of District 1 Sons of Norway, and presiden t last 5 years of Vinland Lodge 1-193 located in International Falls, MN.
