I'm searching for the family of Carrie Tostenson,(born 1862)they immigrated to Minn. from Norway about 1867.I believe her parents to be Ole and Bertha Tostenson.Other siblings are Berthe and Martinius.I'm not positive that these are her parents.

When your 'Carrie Tostenson' married what name did she list for her father (or both parents) on the marriage license application or in the church records of the marriage?
Where in Minnesota did the family live?

There is a family in the 1865 Norwegian census that closely resembles the information you have listed -

THIS family from Gran, Oppland, Norway emigrated to Houston County, Minnesota BEFORE the 1970 US census.
By the 1880 US census the surname appears to have been spelled as Tostenson - a minor change from the original Torstensen. 'Carrie' (Kari) also appears listed by several different ages through the various entries.
