Your g grandfathers baptismal record is #11. He was born May 15 1846 and baptized Carl Olai.
The parents Johannes Hansen and Anne Pauline Christensdatter were then living on Sætre.
The baptismal records for his siblings are:

Hans Olai born Febr 14 1849, see #4,
Pauline Jensine born Oct 12 1852, see #30.

Thank you for the info. Is there anyway to find out if Anne Kristensdatter remarried when in Selje? Also is there anyway to find her death record and also more info on Severin?

The death/burrial record for Johannes Hansen, Sætre is #14.

Anne Pauline should have been 52 years in the 1865 census, not found in the census for Selje.

Marriage records 1856 - 1865 do not show any remarriage for Anne Pauline either.

Thanks, Einar, for your help. Apparently we can't find any more information on Anne and Severin. After Anne's husband died at Reknes Hospital of Leprosy, she left 2 of her sons with family and moved with the oldest son, Severin, to Selje. Hans and Carl (Karl) were raised by their grandparents. Karl also had leprosy and spent 11 years in the hospital before coming to America in 1873. Todays family who keeps the home on Sandnes did not know where or what had happened to Anne and Severin.
