Am looking for information on Jens Larsen b. abt. 1845 near Kragero, NO. Marrried Inger Claudine Larsdatter abt. 1874. Lived at Rosholmen farm abt. 1882-1892. He died at sea with youngest son Lars abt. 1892. Would like verifiable dates if possible. His son Lars' birth date, Jens parents names and any other information available. I already have lots of info on Inger Claudine and her family. Thank you! |

Jens Larsen Birth: 30 APR 1845, Sannidal, Telemark, Norway Christening: 20 JUL 1845, Sannidal, Telemark, Norway Parents: Lars Knudsen & Kirsten Jensdatter link 1 link 2 Sannidal is now a part of Kragerø municipality.

Bjelkehugger bjelke is a rafter or joist (balk, beam) hugger is a cutter
So Lars Knudsen was a rafter/joist maker, probably made of wood.
