Hello
I am looking for information and possibly even a picture for a ship that was called the "Hanoverian" An ancestor of mine whose name was Hans F Kolkind came over on this ship in 1882. I would appreciate if someone could possibly find him in a passenger list for me and maybe some info about the voyage.

There is information on this site about the Hanoverian and you will note that they sailed to Canada. You can rent the Canadian films at a local Family History center.

Try www.pier21.ca

Pier 21 is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, one of two ports most imigrants landed at when entering Canada. There is a wonderful resource centre at Pier 21, staffed by individuals who were a tremendous assistance to me looking for information on my father.
