Hi
This is probably him in the Digitalarkivet leaving Trondheim Click Here Hans Rikard M. Forsaa going to Mosling Wisconsin.
He is in the Ellis Island database Forsaa,Hans Mathis going to his cousin Alert ?? in Mosling Wisconsin. He appears to be traveling with Jacob Vinje who is on the line above him. The line for Jacob is the one that says going to his cousin and the line for Hans has marks meaning the same. Click Here to find him in Ellis Island.

Maybe him in the 1910 census Armstrong, Oconto County Wisconsin, which is where Mosling was located. MATHISON HANS age 33 immigrated 1903. Single Laborer.

In the 1920 census there is a possibility for him
MADISON HANS 42 in Breed, Oconto County Wisconsin
The image is hard to read so it could be Mathison or he could have changed his name to Madison. Immigration date looks like 1905 but hard to be sure.
He is married to a 22 year old Celia and has an 11 month old son Haldore.
Someone with access to the 1930 census index might be able to find more information on them.

Hi I don't have access to the index but do have access to the images and luckily Breed Wisconsin is not that big. I found Hans Madison age 52 with 2 more children Arthur age 9 and Emma 7. What I thought was Haldore in the 1920 census is Hildure in 1930.
Hans and Celia Madison are listed in the Union Cemetary, Breed Wisconsin Click Here
There is a listing in the social security death index for Hildure Madison born 08 Feb 1919 died Jun 1978.

But is Hans Madison the same man as your Hans Mathiassen? Finding a marriage certificate, death certificate or obituary could help. Oconto County has a good site on Rootsweb Click Here You can try contacting the Historical Society, there is a link on the left side of the page. You should also post on their query board. There is also a link for that.

Hi It looks like Arthur died in 1981 Click Here It looks like he stayed in Oconto county Wisconsin.
There are a couple of Madison's living in Suring. You could try writing or calling to see if there is a connection I searched on this site Click Here last name = Madison location = Suring, WI
