Looking for any info on the Hanes farm. I have received the bygdeboker from the local family history center and have began to translate it. And I have found a lot of information on the Solumslekt Genealogy web site and the same holds true for
Digitalarkivet. I would love to get in touch with the people that live on that farm today- any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
the farm is now located in Skien, Telemark.

Actually there are several Hanes farms located next to each other, so to be able to pinpoint the correct one, you need to provide some links to a census or something...

Or do you have the land number (Gnr) and title number (Bnr) of your farm?

Hanes nordre have now Gnr=279. (the old land number was 79 when it was under Solum parish.)
Hanes Søndre have now Gnr=280, old land number was 80.

Some addresses:
Hanes nordre
Hanesvegen 14, 3729 Skien (gnr279 bnr1)
Hanesbakken 81,3729 Skien (gnr279 bnr2)
Hanesvegen 50, 3729 Skien (gnr279 bnr6)

Hanes Søndre
Hanesvegen 20, 3729 Skien (gnr280 bnr1)
Hanesvegen 26, 3729 Skien (gnr280 bnr1)
Hanesvegen 32, 3729 Skien (gnr280 bnr3)

You can find the people living in those two streets by clicking here
(Note: Look only for Hanesvegen #14, #20, #26, #32, #50 or Hanesbakken #81)
