My greatgrandfather emmigrated 14 april 1924 from norway, arrival Halifax 23 april 1924. I have tried to search on my own, but I need some help, I have no trace of him after arrival Halifax.
He was born 20 july 1895 in Leksvik, Nord Trondelag. I been told that he lived sometime in Winnipeg, got married and had 2-3 children.
He had 1 brother and 1 sister who also emmigrated.
Christian Heggen, born 9 march 1899, emmigrated in 1923, he I have located in Lake, Minnesota.
Beret Anna Johan Arntsdt Heggen, born 9 april 1897, emmigrated in 1925, got married to Arne Svee, change her name to Anna B Svee, located also in Lake, Minnesota.
