Hi Working with the information in your first post Click Here I found 2 yr old Erling living with Elvin A Swiggum age 34. In the 1900 census 14yr old Alvin is listed living with Erick E. Swiggner (Swiggum) also living in the household is his father Erick S born Norway 1823.
In the 1870 Census there is an E.S Swiggum and a H S Swiggum (brothers?) living in York twp. In 1880 they are Erick S. and Hans S. Since they took the farm name Swiggum as their last name, S is most likely the first initial of their father.

So in Norway in the 1865 census the only place I found a Svigum farm was in Hafslo, Sogn og Fjordane. The baptisim records for Hafslo are on line. There is a record for Erich born 1823 Father Sjur Erichsen mother Kari Hansdatter Click Here and Hans born 1833 father Sjur Erichsen living on the Sviggum farm mother Kari Hansdatter
So it is a good possibility that these are your ancestors.
Sjur and Kari are still living on the Svigum farm in 1865 Click Here
