Hi everybody!

I am searching for the destiny of Mathea Johansen. Mathea was the halfsister of my grandfather.

She was born in Waaler, Ostfold, Norway, 30.09.1879. She emigrated to USA with the ship "United States" from Oslo 21.10.1910. She arrived Ellis Island 01.11.1910 and go to Chicago to her cousin Gunhild Andersen.

In the Passenger Record from Ellis Island her name is written Mathia Yohansen. In the Ships Manifest some numbers are written - "11-167400-2/17/37-505". I have been explained that this mean that she want to be a naturalized american citizen.

I also have a photo of Mathea taken by photographer P.Holgerson, 1654 California Ave in Chicago.

I think she died about 1945/1950 in Cook Ct, Illinois (Chicago).

Can somebody give me some information abouy Mathea I would be very grateful.
