Hi!
I`m looking for information about children or grandchildren of my grandmothers brother: Peder Edvard"Ed" Nilsen born 14.December 1898,on the Korsbøen farm,in Modum,Buskerud,Norway.
He emigrated to Minneapolis,Minnesota,US on the 21.December 1920.
And married Hilda Mattison (born 1901)in 1923,they had a daughter : Dorothy E Korsbøen? born in 1926.

Some time after 1930 he remarried with Olga? and they got 2 sons Kenneth and David. I have tried searching for them under the Korsbøen(Korsboen) name but have gotten no results.
Peder Edvard Nilsen,Korsbøen died in April 1979 in Tucon,Arizona.

Hello.

Peder Edward was christned 2.5.1899 in Snarum Church , it's a parish in Modum. The parents was Nils Gunbjoernsen born in Sigdal 1869 and Anne Kristin Svendsdaughter born in Modum in 1872.
In the census 1900 they lived in a cotterplace called Strutterud.. It was under Korsboen farm and was in Snarum , not far away from the church. You got a lots of family who is still living in the area. Called Snarum and Kløftefoss. The familyname is: Korsbøen, Slettemoen , Tangene, and may be others.
Thaat's all I know.
