Hi.

I found Thams living on a farm in 1900 called Larsgaard in Hol in Hallingdal. He was not living together with his parents, but moore like a fosterchild. I think he might live together with a sister too. It was a Sunnev Aslagsdaughter born in 1891 that also was living in the same farm.
I found Thomas leaving from Norway, (Kristiania) or Oslo March 13 . 1903. He was going to a place in South Dakota. The name of the ship was Angelo.. He called himselv for Thomas Aslagsen Bakkegård.

I'll see if I got time to find some interesting in the churchbooks later.

Thomas got 8 brothers and sisters. They lived on the Nedre Bakkegard in Hol in Hallingdal.
The parents was Aslag Gnvaldson from Aslaghaugen in Hol 1840 - 1927 and Gurine Larsdaughter from nedre Bakkegard 1850 - 1894. I think because she died early some of the kids have to live together with other families..
A brother to Thomas , Olav born 1889 left for the US in 1909.
