They left for USA (From Norway) in 1902 with a boat called Tasso. They possibly came to Rat Portage in Canada.
Adolf was a sawmillforeman i Canada.

They had 5 children

I do NOT have much about Adolf Martin Sivertsen Wåde (Våde) except:

1. ELISE KRISTINE ALEKSANDERSDOTTER SELNES (ALEKSANDER PEDERSEN STRAND, PEDER JENSEN TØDÅS) was born July 05, 1843, and died 1892 in Våde, Beitstad, Steinkjer, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. She married SIVERT MIKALSEN VÅDE July 08, 1866. He was born Abt. 1843, and died 1915.

Children of ELISE SELNES and SIVERT VÅDE are:
i. SOFIE SIVERTSDOTTER4 VÅDE, b. Abt. 1871.
ii. ADOLF MARTIN SIVERTSEN VÅDE, b. April 03, 1867.
iii. OLAF SIGURD SIVERTSEN VÅDE, b. March 28, 1870.
iv. OLETTE PETRINE SIVERTSDOTTER VÅDE, b. April 14, 1873; m. UKJENT STRØM; b. Narvik.
v. ANTON SIVERTSEN VÅDE, b. 1878; d. 1900.

My family is related back into the SELNES 'branch'...

However, I am looking for information about:

1. GOTFRED VÅDE was born 1863 in Beitstaden, , Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. He married INGEBORG BANGSUND Abt. 1896, daughter of IVER BANGSUND and HANNA HANSDATTER. She was born 1865 in , Namsos, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway.

Child of GOTFRED VÅDE and INGEBORG BANGSUND is:
i. RAGNHILD VÅDE, b. 1896.

I think this must be your Gotfred Våde, see #54 and you can see his parents and siblings here.
Gotfred as a married man with daughter Ragnild is found in the 1900 census for Klingen, note that Ingeborgs parents live on the farm.
In the 1865 census we find Ingeborgs parents and grandparents.
The birth record for Olise Christine is #23

Anton Sivertsen was actually christened Anton Kristian, see #8.
His father Sivert was born in 1839, see #44, Siverts father was Michael Andersen and his mother was Bolette Sivertsdatter.
The marriage record for Sivert and Olise Christine is #9 here
The birth of Johanne Margrethe is not given, but for the record here she is as #2 in 1880, and her father Nils Theodor #46 and her mother Petternilla Margrethe #74

Thanx for all the answers. I've got all info about Adolf Våde, his parents and grandparents, and so on.

What I'm looking for is the children, grandchildren and greatgrandkids of Adolf Våde and Johanna Ressem. Beacuse Adolf Våde had another son as vel, my greatgrandfather.

Hi, with great interrest I read this note.

Iver and Hanna was my grandgrandparents. As far as we, the family knows, they just had 2 sons, Tomas, my grandfather and Edward whom emigrated to the US.
In census from 1910 I found this Ingeborg, born 19.05.1866 in Namdalseidet. According parish registers she was a legitim child of Elden family. So I just wonder who this informations comes from.
Thankful for any answers.
Sincerly Svein Brøndbo, Namsos Norway.

Good, I was wrong about the family name, looking more well I can see it`s Andsjøen, and they lived at Elden in Namdalseidet county.
But who knows more than I about Ingeborg and why she endet up at my grangranparents farm ?
