Anyone have information on the description of this ship. How many passenger classes, how many passengers, etc.

According to "Merchant Fleets in Profile" by Duncan Haws 1979, the Peruvian had accommodation for 100 1st class and 300 steerage passengers (3rd class). These figures were never static, as ships were usually refitted and rebuilt during a lifetime in service.

Thanks to both of you for the answer. Tosten Torgrimson, my great grandfather and family left Kristiania on the Angelo, September 10, 1880. It looks like the connecting ship would be the Peruvian at Hull. Immigration papers say he landed in Quebec in October, 1880.
