Where might one find the "older Bygedebok books" described in the great article on Bumerker?

There are lookup volunteers that have books:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~bwo/norway.html

The Salt Lake LDS library has all or most of them I believe but they are not loaned out like the microfilms.

The Vesterheim Museum in Madison, WI will do research for you:

Your best bet, though, is to join a Bygdelag for your region, the genealogist and/or historian generally is in possession of the library of books and could do look ups for you.

Thank you Jo Anne I'll get a note out to the local Bygdelag this week.
