Emigration lists of persons leaving from Bergen, Norway show 9 people showing 'Brathole' connections between the years 1879 and 1902. They all list that are from the area in Norway commonly known as Vossestrand.

1865 census residents of two 'Brathole' farms in Vinje parish of Voss, Hordaland -
