Thank you Jo Anne for the information. You asked for info about emigration. Anders Aamunds. Bolstad (born 1841)emigrated in 1861, apparently served in the Civil War, and died in 1867. Jens (born 1844) emigrated in 1865 and settled in Dane Co. Wi., where his brother Anders had settled. We know that Jens married a Kari Johannesdtr Saebo in Wi. Apparently she was a widow and we question if she had been married to Anders first? Also, a Luster County Historian, Lars E. Oyane, has published bygedeboks for Luster. If anyone has access to them, he has written about them in vol. 1 under farm #20, Bolstad, husmannsplass Teigane 3. I would like info about the family in Norway. Many thanks!

Jo Ann gave you several excellent research options in the earlier thread about these brothers.

Exactly where is the nearest LDS Family History Center to your current location? What county and state do you live in?

I live in extreme southern Minnesota and I don't know where a LDS Family History Center is located unless there is one in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

There are three LDS Family History Centers in Hennepin Co. Minnesota and a fourth located in St. Paul, Ramsey Co. Unable to tell you about YOUR county without knowing the name of it.

Extreme southern Minnesota is pretty. I was born in extreme northern Iowa.
