fl is short for lodger, and belonging to family. Not necessarily related.

But chances are that an "FL" person is related somehow to the family. As opposite to an "EL" person, which is a single lodger, and has it's own household. An "EL" person is most likely not related.

I went up to Skaugdalen today to see if I could get som shots, but the weather was not too good. I'll get you some more images when the conditions get better, and send them by e-mail. In the mean time you can see the farm on this photo:

The photo is an extra that I never had hopes of getting. This is great. All of you have been terrific in helping me along. Now, if I can find Anton's wife, Bertha Grande, I'll have a real start on the branch that has been so hard to track down.
