I am looking for Jacob Wilson Born in Norway in 1837 and came to the United States and married Anna Mary Creidon of New York and then moved to Vallejo, California and had Francis Jacob Wilson in 1872.

I am trying to find his parents and where he was born and when he came over.

Please help.

Trying to work backwards, sometimes helps. Frank J Wilson and his Mother are in the 1900 US census for Vallejo, Solano, CA.

Anna M Wilson, widow, age 47, born Sept 1853 she has had 4 children, 4 living.
Frank J Wilson, Son age 30. born Jan 1870/
A J Wilson, Son age 2? spilled ink
T Wilson, Son age ?? do
? Wilson, daughter age ?? do

There is J. Frank Wilson in the 1920 and 1930 census, marrried to Lettie. Don't know for sure if they are related to you.

Do you have any more information for Jacob? Exact birthdate, year of immigration, date of death, Fathers Name? Where in Norway did he live?

Not many Wilson´s in Norway.
Wilson is not a farm name, I guess he was from a town.
Just one possibilty, but there were Wilson´s living in Oslo /Christiania and Vestold County about 1850 and later.

Need more info as Les pointed out.
