Hello,

I was sent a link to Toten searchable website: http://www.slektshistorielaget.no/

This website has been so extremely useful that I am wondering if similar sites exist for other areas of Norway. I have done a websearch but haven't found anything yet. I am interested in searching similar sites for Nord-Trondelag, Vestfold, Østfold, and Hedmark. I have a feeling that the Toten historical site might be unique in this way.

The records I'm currently searching don't seem to be available on the Parish Registers yet.

Thank you,
Mike

If parish records are not yet in the scanned collection on the Digitalarkivet - you can order them on microfilm at your nearest LDS Family History Center.
Check specific localities for any special online information-

Mike,

Try www.fellesraad.com

That will give you the different bygdelags for the different areas.
At least I think that's what you're asking for.

Good luck!
Wanda
