I'd like to find some Norwegian Olsen cousins during a visit I plan there in August. "No problem finding Olsens in Norway," you say? Well, finding the right ones may not be so easy, what with privacy regulations and all.
Per my previous research (including significant help from this website -- thank you!) here's my gg grandmother's family:

Christian's original gårdsnavn was Lingås and Beate Marte Olsdtr (my gg grandmother) came from gårdsnavn Linge. By time Christian and Beate Marte were married, their gårdsnavn was Engeset. All this is in Møre og Romsdal.
Before his marriage to Beate Marte, Christian apparently had an unmarried relationship with Berte Oline Larsdtr (original gårdsnavn Bjørstad) resulting in two children (Ingeborb and Ole Jacob).
Of Christian's eight total children, at least three emigrated (Oline (my g grandmother), Sakarias (the second one), and Karl Martinus. One died as an infant (the first Sakarias).
That leaves as many as four who may have stayed in Norway and left descendents: the two half siblings (Ingeborb and Ole Jacob), as well as Adel and Martinus. My research shows Adel married Ole Severin Olsen in 1884.
If I could track down contemporary descendents of these relatives that would be ideal. If I hit the jackpot, some one in that branch of the family is also a genealogy enthusiast.
I've composed another query like this one, with details about my gg grandfather's siblings, which I've also posted to this most-helpful forum.
