I have run across a page of an old book of psalms owned by an ancestor, and have been trying to translate it to no avail. At this point I am not even positive it is in Norwegian - maybe Swedish? I'm attaching an image of the handwritten page - any help will be appreciated.

Perhaps I'm the only person who cannot see any attachment to your query??

You recently asked on another message board for a similarly described translation and never responded to the man who translated it there. Perhaps it was the same??

If it's the same, you should really reply to the person who helped you out..., the translatation looks pretty good.

I would say it looks to have been written buy a Swede who could have been living in America for some years...

Sorry for being so slow to respond - I didn't realize this forum was linked to the message board at Rootsweb.

These forums are NOT linked but alot of us all look at most of the related sites. When you choose to make a duplicate posting about the exact same topic, you should have provided a link to the other posting listing what translation you already got. We all like to help but no one wants to do unnecessary research.

Attachments do not work on this forum but if you look on the Posting Guidelines, it will explain how to post an image in your posting.
