Hello,

The passenger list for the TECUMSEH (left Havre and arrived New York 8 Aug 1843) shows only 42 emigrants. Does anybody know if pages of the document are missing? Is the TECUMSEH list complete? Thanks so much for your response.

Sincerely,
Jan

Hi Jan,

I checked on Ancestry and they only have 41 passengers listed, but they list it as arriving August 7, 1843. Maybe the name of the person that you're looking for is misspelled?

Good luck!
Wanda

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the kind response. I checked and read the photo of the TECUMSEH passenger list at both ancestry.com and at the Family History Library. The list consists of just two pages. My ancestors' names are not listed, although other family members are. It just seems strange that "only" 42 people were aboard the ship. I'll keep trying.

Sincerely,
Jan
