I am trying to find information on CARL GRUNER who was living in DRAMMEN in 1848.
He was an Organist, who had been born in Denmark around 1808.
Any assistance appreciated.
Gruner.

Do you have any other information on Carl Gruner? When he went to Drammen? When he left? Did he end up in the United States?

No, I'm afraid I don't have more information on him in Drammen.

I know he was born in about 1808, his father Frederick was a valdhorn player in the Danish Royal orchestra, and an organist at Vor Frelsers Kirke in Copenhagen until his death in 1848. The probate document for Frederick say that his son Carl is living in Drammen at that time, and that he is an organist.

The only other thing I know about Carl is that he made his musical debut at a concert in Copenhagen when he was 9.

Thanks for your interest.
