Seeking emigration and family data regarding John Jacobson, son of Andrew and Trina (Engelstad) Jacobson, possibly of Drammen; born 11 October 1881; came to U. S. ca. 1900, settled at Richland Center, Wis., married Bertha Paulson (dau of Ole and Dorthea Paulson) in Wisconsin..

Family data in the 1900 Norwegian census for Drammen, Buskerud, Norway -
Andreas Jacobsen family

When you say "ca 1900" - how close to 1900 are you actually meaning? what years were listed in US censuses for "year of immigration" and/or his naturalization papers?

The 1910 U.S. Census for Richland Center shows John Jacobson, age 28, married to a Bertha. They had been married 3 years and John immigrated in 1904. John was shown as being born in Norway and Bertha was born in Wisconsin. they had a 1 year old son, Robert L. Jacobson.

This appears to be your John and the immigration year was 1904.

To whom it may concern, my regrets for inadvertently repeating my original inquiry.
Thanks to R. Schumacher and Hopkins, for now.
Hopkins: Was Andreas Jacobson related to Hans Jacobson of Modum; a brother perhaps?
