Nice work to both of you!
I thought Ole & Berthe Maria would have married in Aker church around that time, but I didn't have the time to scan through the records...

With regards to the date June 1st, 1851 (3:de lysning). In english: "their third publication of the banns", ie it was their 3rd marriage announcement on that date.

It was only a wrongspelling of the date.

Widow for 2. time Marie Hansdatter, age 75 in the 1801 census for Stabberud, see above, Hans Olsen Stabberuds mother was from Rømme.
She married Ole Olsen Norseth on Oct. 10. 1744 in Løten, they engaged June. 17.

Juny:17 Soldat (Soldier) Ole Olsen Nordseth og pigen (Maid) Marie Hansdatter Rømen Octobr:d:10.
1. page bottom

Ole Olsen Norseth and Stabberud died spring (buried March 26. age 44) 1765 and his widow Marie Handatter married Hans Larsen in 1766, in 1774 the farm was taken over by his steph son and rightful heir Hans Olsen Stabberud in the 1801 census.

Nordseth

I wonder why the photos of the farms seems to live its own life, sometimes it works well, sometimes it don´t.?
I´ll look into it later.

I don't know whether it is important, but the date for the engagement of Ole Olsen and Marie Hansdatter was Junii d 17, i.e. June 17.

Hi to the team of specialists who have been looking up my ancestry for me - well done, I could not have done anything like this as i have absolutely no knowledge of the Norwegian language. So a very very special word of thanks.

You are all wonderful- and my relatives are most happy at what has been uncovered. We are now trying yo uncover our other Scandinavian roots - Swedish and Danish - however those countries are not so well served as they don't seem to have an equivalent of NorwayHeritage.

Once again - thanks

DonL (Hamilton New Zealand) .

You are welcome,
Swedish and danish genealogy is not familare to me, sorry.
Here is the link to the photoarchiv to searc for yourself, Stabberud and Nordseth works well, pehaps Ø in Røne is harder to get.
Write the name in the window and press "søk"

Good luck

Mari Hansdatter Stabberud died 1807, the funeral was on April 23, age 84, right page 2. from bottom #12

The records from 1723, about when Mari Hansdatter Røne was born dont exist, but her confirmation was January 1743, right page, right hand 15. name from bottom.
It looks like she had an older sister Brynild, her confirmation was on April 28. 1737

1664 census for Hedmark, Løten is about half way down page "Folketellingsliste NR. 1 for Løten of Sept. 19. 1664"

Rønne was a "Fuldgaard and valued to 5 1/2 Hide owned by Lauridtz Erichsen age 42, a seravnt was Soldier Bendt Olsen age 25, and a sub farm (h) by tenant farmer Jon Rasmusen age 60.

Stabberud was a Halvgaard and valued to 1 Hide owned by Peder Biørnsen age 37 and a tenant farmer, Olle Andersen age 60

Hi Kare,
I seem to be a bit lost as to the last few entries - are these ancestors of Olava's or are they related to god parents? Or have I missed out something?

You certainly have been doing a lot of digging for us, and havwe found some gold, but now i am lost.

Regards

Hi Don,
genealogy can be confusing with all the new names coming up in a few days.
I am only working on Berthe Marie Jacobsdatter´s husband Ole Christian Christiansen from Løten parish and municipality in Hedmark county and his parents/forefathers coming from Røhne, Stabberud and Nordseth.

Guess spring has come to N.Z., fall has almost started in Norway.
New Zealand is the opposite country of Norway on the globe and the most equal when it comes to nature as the walleys, fjords, mountains and rivers south of equator, so if it was possible to drill a deep hole......
