My father told me he tried to visit an uncle in Australia He had to walk <he was on a boat> The mud was so bad he had to turn back The port he was in I do not know I do not know if it was an uncle on the Lilleland side or the Rott <Roth.>side Any info would be great This would have to be in the early 1900s or maybe early 1920s

This is a link to search birth, deaths and marriages in Queensland. Some parts of Queensland on the coast are very muddy as you described so it may be worth looking there.
