Gloria,
You can find the information you posted to either Ancestry.com or RootsWeb in 2003 still avaiable online. You appear to have included there the name of Rasmus' wife and more detail about dates about the family.
Available for free viewing through RootsWeb.com and located in the area they call WorldConnect.

Hopkins, Thanks, after printing and re-reading I understand what you said. The fire was in 2006 and I lost a lot of stuff. I have not been able to print off my anscestry postings from 2003. working with them to link it up as I now have a different email account. But thank you again and I am working on getting it so that I can put it in the family tree maker software.

Your John Monsen Aaland could be (not the same mother as Rasmus) #16
his parents were Mons Gulbrandsen and Kari Rasmusdatter, Aaland.
Rasmus Monsen is also recorded in the Innvik parish, born Aug 19 baptized Aug 21 1842, see #63
parents Mons Gulbrandsen and Kari Johnsdatter, Aaland.
Mons Gulbrandsen and Kari Johnsdatter were married March 30 1839, see #14
Mons was then 32 years old and came from Andenĉs. Kari was 30 years old and came from Stokke.
Mons was baptized Jan 1 1807, see left column, left hand page, top record
his parents were Gulbrand Olsen and Anne Olsdatter. They are at Andenes in 1801
Kari was baptized Jan 29 1809, see right column, right hand page, record #6 from the top
her parents were Jon Thorsen and Katrine Jacobsdatter. They were at Stokke in 1801.
Mons Gulbrandsen and Kari Johnsdatter also had a daughter Anne, bapt Sept 6 1845, see conf record #25

Look for US information about Rasmus and his family in the area of Utica, Crawford County, Wisconsin. There were others in that area who were probably brothers or cousins of Rasmus.
Innvik, Sogn og Fjordane records indicate that Rasmus had siblings Gulbrand (1840), Anne (1844), John (1847), Anders (1849), Ole (1852), Mons (1857),

Rasmus Monsen, born 1842, may be #2872 at Andenes in 1865
"he" was definitely not a "Tjenestepige" - he must have been a Tjenestekarl. (His father was from Andenĉs when he married).
John Monsen #2873 must be his brother born 1847.

Okay, I have looked all the references you have given me and I think I understand them. But is there some link where I can get the top part of the records or headers translated for these records. I am sorry that I need to be educated on this. But thanks anyway. for your help.

Also is John a half brother with different mother? Maybe? Confused there with the father thing?
Thanks again.

Sorry I did not use the English version of censuses, example 1865
Yes, Tjenestekarl means male servant.

For the parish records you have to accept a bit of the Norwegian language, example Rasmus Monsen #63

Amazing how much of information that can be found since last night.

Here is a map to show you where in Sogn and Fjordane County the municipalities are.

Gloppen, Stryn and Innvik are north-east in the county.

Vereide church in Gloppen build about 1100 where Rasmus parents married.

Innvik church build 1824.
