I just spent 3 hours going through the 1865 census looking for anything on Aamund Anthoensen b. 10/28/1810 . I don't have the hang of it yet. so I had to look through 4300 names and 701 farms.

I will have to find out if he went to America with his parents.
If Amund Antonsen was in the 1865 Norwegian census in Gloppen then he had NOT emigrated to America before 1865.
You expect the parents of a man born in 1810 to appear in the 1865 census? You have reason to think they lived that long?

Since then you seem to have changed your mind about what you were looking for and now try to say that I misunderstood you -- I give up -- you can spin those circles by yourself. I take personal offense that you keep pleading "senior moment" -- that's just plain insulting to all of us with silver hair.

Was not my intention to insult yuo, but you seem to be. I do appolige to you. I have many problems with the language, backward brain and all. my regrets to have insulted yuo. Noting I can say will help now. I meant that I confused myself about your finding one Amund and , oh well what's the point of trying to explain. I was not trying to insult you, only explain my backwards brain. forget it.
