Hi,
Looking for any information on Jens Jorgen HANSEN, born 6th Oct 1874, bapt 30th Oct 1874, Notteroy. Married Martha Mathilde HANSEN 15th Feb 1903. Have found Martha going to USA to join husband at 28 Lake Street Manistee Michigan on the Oscar 11 21st August 1905. Dana Hansen sister/cousin joined him in 1906.
Have found death of Jens 1934 Grotterod Sondre Vestfold. Would like to know when Jens went to USA, if Jens & Martha had any children and when they returned to Norway?
Any help appreciated.

Jens is registered at Grøtterød in the 1900 census although he at the time was in Amerika (USA). He was a first mate. His father and mother was at the time in Germany, the father was a Captain.
You have probably seen Jens Jørgens baptismal record, if not it is #91
his parents married Dec 5 1873, see #48
His father Hans Hansen was born Febr 2 1850, see #8 parents Jens Jørgen Hansen and Helene Andrea Hansdatter.
His mother Samueline Margrethe Andersdatter Pedersen was born Sept 30 1851, see
#58 parents Anders Pedersen and Jensine Anderstine Johannesen.

Einar,

Thank you for the info, we did have a bit of it also we believe we have Hans (father) dieing in Gulfport USA in July 1906. Is there anyway we could find Jens & Martha coming back to Norway or any children?
Once again appreciate your help at all times.

Einar,

Should have added to last reply. We have been trying to trace Alf Hansen mentioned in the 1900 census, Dina was the sister of my wife's grandfather, we do not know who Alf was.
