A friend from 23andme and ancestry.com found information from Jens' son, Carl, who died in Chicago in 1928.
She says:

This wife appears to be Swedish, too. |

Carl C. died in 1928, at 50 and is listed as a cerebral hemorrhage.
My friend seems to think Jens died inn 1917. |

Well my genealogy friend sprang to spend $15 for the Cook County, Ill. Death Record, which found the Skagen secret, I had knowledge of this record but didn't realize that it would provide his parents birthplace...I assume the below was from a public Danish database, Jens father was Jens Christian Sorensen.

what year was the info from. now you have a different name with work with instead of Jensen. 'rensen.? is that correct?

| That is Sorenson, I just caught that. This is the 1855 census. I guess the special Danish characters don't show up correctly. |

| well this got really off topic (trolls?) but the Galstad mtdna from biri i got analyzed 100%, all 16,400plus bases and it seems i have at least 11 TOTAL matches at FTDNA, one is an Iranian?, plus the others seem from the UK or Ireland...so, since I can take the line back to 1600 or so in Biri, maybe the mtdna came from slaving Irish women back in AD 1000? |
