#22 looks like it is the first marriage of Bertha Marie Ingebrethsdatter. to Peter Andersen Thue - that might explain why the old charts I had had Andrine with the last name of Thue.

What does the rest of this say. I think I see Jens Bergh and Johan Heinrich Arnesen are those the witnesses?

thank you. Is Enerhaugen a place? I don't seem to be able to find it. Hoping that is a clue to where she was baptised.

And do you think "THUE" is Petter Andersen's last name or does it mean something else?

#110 right side is a daughter Amalie. Petter is not using Thue here?

#144 is her confirmation record.
her father would have died by this time - does it say something in here that he is dead? I have not been able to find a death record for him.

If you look up and down the page with the baptisms that include Amalie you'll notice that none of the parents appear to be listed with an ADDRESS immediately after the father's name - farm name where they currently reside. But notice that right after the mother's name is does say "fra Enerhaugen" [from Engerhaugen]. The 1801 census lists "Enerhougen" farms in Aker.

Online study material to learn about Norwegian naming practices and patterns. All absolutely free - you just have to invest the time to read or study them.

line #37 is from the copy of the records. Does this give me more information? Looks like there could be more on his parents here?
- late answer, yes it says The father was confirmed in Fredrikstad and was showing attestation of the marriage from Christiania where his wife came from.

- in this case Enerhaugen is not a farm, but an area in the eastern part of Oslo, after 1860 this area belonged to the Grønland parish.
Info and map on Enerhaugen and a translator to get it in english.

March 11, 1803 - I think this is Bertha Marie bapt record. Her father was Ingebret Halvsorsen on her marriage record and the age looks right. I can not make our her mothers name? or what it says in the left column -is that abour Bertha Marie?

I could only find her confirmation record in the copy - the official record for 1819 is not there.

Mother was Ambiør Halvorsdatter.
(Text in left column does not apply to Berthe Maria)

Thank you. That is a new name for me.

I don't see anything to say where they are from do you? It only looks like witness names listed? I will see if I can find other children or their marriage in this parish.
