Hi,

Here is probably the death certificate info for Bertha found at www.mnhs.org:

MODAL, BERTHA
Date of Birth: <1865>
Place of Birth: NORWAY
Mother Maiden Name: OLSON
certid# 1906-46-2924
Date of Death: 18 Feb 1906
County of Death: LYON

If you search for all those in the Minnesota death cert database you will find "Klungland" mentioned as mother's maiden name on a couple...

Perhaps Lars married again? This from www.mncounty.com:

MN County Certificate # Date Groom's Name Bride's Name
LYON G-388 10/12/1911 MODAL, LARS ANDREAS SIGBJORNSON VESTHASSEL, TERIE TONNESSON

Hi,

Vesthassel was part of Terie or Tori's name not Lars'. When I copy the data it doesn't pick up the dividing lines between columns.
