Bertha (Britha) Gudmundsdatter was born April 14 1820, see #5 her parents were Gudmund Steenersen and Britha Johannesdatter, Evie.
The parents were married July 16 1818, see #16. Brithe Johannesdatter came from Worre, see her parents in 1801.

Here is the 1860 US Census for Julie A Harris and family. For what it is worth one of the Family Tree's in Ancestry.com traces this family back in time many, many generations. We do not know how accurate their info is and judging on the info from the Norwegian side one must be cafeful, but it does give a very detailed portrait of the Harris side of the family.
