Having succesfully being helped solving questions about my father Harry Holmström ("Oslo" 1910) and grandfather Axel ("Angelo" 1888) I now post a tougher problem:

Axel's oldest son Julius August Holmström was born March 8, 1884, in the parish of Tjärnö, province of Bohuslän. He left for New York as soon as he could decide by himself, never to return. Family tradition tells that he drowned in 1917 or 1918 in connecton with a life boat practise on one of the Morgan ships on the New York to New Orleans route. - He certainly travelled via the Kristiania - Hull route. He also should appear in the 1910 census.

Thanking in advance for help!
