In several entries of digitized records of Talvik, I see the word Finsjaa in the area for place of birth or residence. I cannot find this place in a map or in a Google search. Am I reading the record correctly? Is there such a place as Finsjaa? How does this relate to Talvik?

As an example see the death record of Anne Helene Eriksdatter in Talvik 7 Dec 1852 on line 59

Thanks

The farms Finsjaa shows up in the 1865 and 1900 censuses.

Finnskjåen (or Finnsjåen) is a farm about 2,5 miles north of Talvik.
