I'm trying to trace Arent and Lars Nielsen Sjøhus After they left
Skånevik Hordaland.
Arent # 99 Lars#3
I believe this is Arent's wedding,
#1 1875
Is this Arent in 1900?
1900
Arent and Lars mother was a Severeide. I've found nothing on Lars.
Thanks for any Help Jim

Did you check in the bygdebok for Torvastad (Torvestad)? "Bygdebok for Karmøy - Torvastad", by Birger Kjetland.

Birthdates are listed on that "Inn- og utflyttede" -- do those match the birthdates on the records of those of your family?

I believe this (#1 1875) is Arent's wedding,
- it is.

The 1900 census is also Arent, his wife Mine (Rakel Omine in the marriage record) and their children.

The marriage record for Lars Nilsen and Britha Serine Sjursdatter is #21.

Lars in 1900 with his second wife?

Einar

Thank you so much Einar. I think that my Grand Aunt Anna Nilsdtr
went to Avaldsnes and married her cousin Kristian
1910 Sjøhus
What's your opinion?

Kristian Arntsens father was Arent Nilsen whos father was Nils Olsen.
Anna (Aaseline) Nilsdatters father was Nils Nilsen whos father was Nils Olsen, yes they were cousins.
