I am looking for 2 ship passenger lists.

The first list is from the ship "Drafna" in May 1852. It left Drammen, Norway and came to Quebec, but I can find no listing for it. It contains the passenger record for my paternal great grandmother, Mari Olsdatter Haugejordet, and her sister Barbro. Both were single and coming together, eventually coming to Wisconsin.

The second list is for the ship "Colombo" in 1846. This voyage started in Norway but went to Havre, France where it was delayed for at least a month or more before coming to New York in August, 1846. It has many passengers from my maternal side for whom I would like information.

I appreciate any information you may have.

Information from this web site, indicates the Drafna sailed to New York, and arrived July 15th.

Have you searched New York records?

Ancestry.com has the manifest for the Ship Drafua, instead of Drafna. Arrival date is July 16. On page 2 it lists the following:
M. Hougagordt, age 22. (b. 1830.)
B. Hougagordt, age 33. (b. 1919.)

The Colombo arrived 29 August 1846, from Le Havre. There are 3 pages for the passenger list.

Les.

Hi,

One of the "contracting" parties for the voyage of the Drafna in 1852 was Assor Hallsteinson Grøth (1815-1907)from Hol, Hallingdal, Norway. Very many of the passengers on this vessel & voyage were friends, neighbors and relatives of Assor.

Hilsen,
Jackie M.
