Hi!

I'm interested in some copies of pages from the book Volume 4 immigrants to the United States A Biographical Directory 1825-1850, there are pages in this book pertaining to my husbands family. I tried the libraries around where we live and they don't have this edition of the book. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get copies of the pages I want or someplace that I could order copies.

Janice

The LDS Family History Library's online library catalog (familysearch.org) shows that they have volume 4. You might ask them.

You could also ask your local public library to try to request the book through Inter-Library Loan.

There is also a large number of persons who are researching their Norwegian ancestors who are members of the Norway mailing list on RootsWeb. A request there might prove helpful. You have to subscribe (free) to post but it is also easy to unsubscribe.

Check with The Norwegian American Genealogical Center and Naeseth Library in Madison, Wisconsin. They have the book on sale for $55.
