That is my conclution. If a burrial record can be found for your Haagine it might give som indications for further searching.
Also since we talk about Asker a search in the local records might be useful.

A map showing Løkene (=Løgenæs) is here
http://kart.finn.no/?lng=10.49113&lat=59.83146&zoom=16&mapType=finnvector&markers=10.49113,59.83146,r,L%C3%B8kenes.

You can zoom and search at your liking.

The burial record did not reveal any valuable info, Haagine died as a poor woman Dec 12 1865 (just a little bit too early to be included in the 1865 census), see #116
Kildeinformasjon: Akershus fylke, Asker, Ministerialbok nr. I 11 (1825-1878), Døde og begravede 1866, side 215.
Permanent sidelenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7737&idx_id=7737&uid=ny&idx_side=-215.

Father Børre Larsen, mother Mari Olsdatter. In the 1801 census Haagine is a stepdaughter to Peder Andersen,

Peder Andersen married to Haagines mother Mari Olsdatter.

This would give a birth year 1792, if the age 73 is recorded as we do now. Earlier one could write on year more, (73 meaning that she was in her 73rd year, which is between 72 and 73)
If David Carlsen has an approximate year of 1791 as Haagines birth she would have been 10 or 11 in 1801

Ok here is a request - as time permits, will someone please fully translate each birth record posted by Einar on Jan 30 this year - about 6 posts up. All information in each birth record. What I am going to do is look everywhere I can for connections that may give me a clue on Haagine's parents. It seems like at least once in all these births, a parent should have been in the witness parties or something - or siblings and maybe I can find something this way but I am not able to understand most of the information on the records especially the gothic ones so I need help collecting a list of names and facts.. Thanks in advance.

thanks - not one Anders in the lot. Maybe Christen Andersen is a brother? Is it of any meaning that he starts showing up as a witness in 1826?

I mentioned in an earlier post a Haagine born in 1787 that I have seen linked to Peter Christensen as a husband. Here is the link - 13th on the right
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7730&idx_id=7730&uid=ny&idx_side=-96
with the 1811 marriage, this Haagine may be a better fit.

This is most likely the Haagine that Øystein refers to.

Thank you for the information. This corresponds better to the Church record of 1811where she is from Gjettum. As the baptism is in Haslum, the farm can be Houg in Bærum. I will try to Finder her parents in the 1801 census. It is difficult to read the text, does it say Andets Hansen Houg and Birte Pedersdatter?

I will continue the Maren and Marte thread here as it connects to the family. A few posts above, Einar recaps the children and it is Maren and Marte that I seek any additional information about. The confirmation records are Here:
