Hi,

Could someone help me translate a Parish Emigration record for Johan Larsen, Vaagan and children? See entries #8-12 for 1904 (right hand page).

I am interested to know why Karen Aslaug Johansdtr is listed separately to her siblings – Signe, Leif and Hanna. Was she married?

Also, the family appears to be missing another sibling – Gudrun Amelea Johansdtr (born 1889). Johan and his 5 children, arrived in Australian in August 1905.

Any hep gratefully appreciated.

Anne

A bit hard, but I think they just listed the various certificates produced (birth, christening, confirmation)

For Johan I think the end says "...ved hustruens død 18/7-00".

Did his wife die then?

No obvious reason to me why the eldest is separated, maybe just because she was an adult?
(confirmated)

Her remarks says:
Utskrevet attest af 27/7-1904 - dåbs, konfirmation samt ubundethets attest
Written attestation of July 27th 1904, christening, confirmation and also "unfettered" attestation.
The unfettered attestation was a proof that she was single and could marry.

I think the reason she is not listed as a child of Johan is because she is an adult, and treated as such.
