I believe I have found the birth record of Kirsti Rasmusdr. in Ostfold, Skiptvet Chronological list 1718, p. 41, in the right column. However, it has the Latin writing again possibly 18 p Trinit: It appears her father is Rasmus Holgers from Schaar and I believe the month is October. Can someone tell me the date and whether it is birth or baptism and do you see a mother's name in this record? Thank you, Dusty

The date is Oct 16 1718 (see narrow column to the left) and reads:
"døpt Rasmus Holger søns fra Schaar her i Sognet hans lille Datter hvis Navn ble kaldet Kirsten: - - - (listing of the witnesses)"

On page 42 under 23 p. Trinit. you will se that Rasmus Holger søn Schaars wife, Anna Andersdatter was introduced to the church after the birth of Kirsten.
