Hi.
I am not a relative, but I remember the name looking into the "Bygdebook" for Nore and Uval some years ago looking for another person from Kravik.
I have passed Kravik many times by car.
Kravik was 7 farms in 1865 and 4 farms in 1900, some of the buildings there are from the 1300.
Have you heard about the instrument "Kravik-lyra", a 700 years old string-instrument found on Kravik, now kept in Norwegian Folk Museum, Bygdĝy, Oslo.

Wow, this is very interesting... I didn't even know about them until I found a bunch of letters in storage. The 1300's? That is amazing! I would love to find photos. Also I'd never heard of the Kravik-lyra. Another thing to research. Thank you so much for this information.

I hope Janice give permission to change the theme on her topic.
Numedal is the middleage valley in Norway with four Stave-churches and buildings from the 1200 and 1300.
