Aanon Erichsen born in 1740 date seems to be given as Fest 5 and in between Dom 3 and Dom 6. I do not understand what that date is. It doesn't seem to fit the Ecclesiastical Date website I usually use. Can someone explain this date for me and also read the name of Aanons father. It is Erich Unreadable Vraalstad. Last entry on the left.

The bapt. date says "Fest Purif" = Festum purificationis Mariæ which was Febr 2 every year. Not used after 1770.
For the last name of the father I read Knudsen.

Einar

Also called "Presentation of Jesus at the Temple" (Praesentatio Domini)
40 days after Jesus' birth.
